Painting homes can offer a good measure of financial security even during poor economic times. The key to success is having a good business plan and a good attitude. In many cases, interior and exterior house painting is one of the most dreaded jobs for homeowners. Although everyone likes nicely painted walls, it simply is an undesirable job for most homeowners.
A house painting business is a very profitable home business. First and foremost is the fact that it is a respectable trade and the business can be run out of your home. Secondly, anyone can start painting on a part-time basis. House painting contractors often work as painters for years before going out on their own. In the past 30 years I’ve encouraged several house painters to start their own successful businesses. An energetic man or woman will learn the trade from an established painting contractor by working for a time as a house painter. As soon as he or she is comfortable with the trade, there is little reason to continue as an employee.
To start a painting business, one needs a knowledge of the trade and the desire to physically work for a living. Most people who go into business for themselves have dreams of sitting behind a desk or just supervising their own work crews. There is nothing wrong with this approach but another approach, especially during poor economic times is to work solo. With hard work, a small operation can prove to be most profitable. To make it in business, one needs a good daily schedule and must be a dependable worker. After all, when working for yourself, you are truly on your own. But the positives certainly outnumber the negatives of self employment
After one makes the commitment that is needed, they should seek help with a house painting business plan from someone with experience. Without a good business plan it is too easy to blow your capitol on unnecessary things. A good house painting business guide will protect the new business owner from making many errors. Most would be surprised as to how many businesses fail the first year and most can attribute at least part of that failure to poor planning.

Duties:
Manage front desk, answering main phone lines
Greet visitors
Distribute mail
Address and send mail and parcels
File, fax, and photocopy as needed
Type general correspondences and necessary documentation using Word and Excel
Perform additional duties as needed
Requirements:
Must be able to prioritize, be self-motivated and have some Microsoft Office skills.
Be Punctual, have a willingness and desire to learn new responsibilities.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) not required but a plus
Have good communication skills and are able to work with others.
Must pass drug test, job task and physical.

Honestly- she probably needs a good reference and you're the only one she thinks she can depend on. As much as you know the truth about her work tactics, she may be really needing work and wants to change. If her new employer fires her, oh well. I have had employers say "well this reference said this" and you could easily get into a pickle.
Just be a friend & let the employer handle the rest.

Like a lot of people, I’m getting desperate here. I can type over 85wpm, switchboard/phones, data-entry, customer service. I am unable to drive long distances or freeways, but I can get to Downtown Dallas, Uptown, Turtle Creek, Oaklawn, Lower Greenville Ave. I drive an older car, so this is the best thing for me to do…stay in these areas. I have been in 3 lay-offs in about 2 1/2 years, but have excellent references and I’m a dependable worker with good experience. I am a smart and dependable worker and I have been in and out of the Entertainment industry for the past 3 years. As of now I cannot find a solid position that will allow me to grow and move up in the company. I have worked with movie scripts, as a PA on a TV show and I have applied for several jobs that wont even give me an interview. Where can I go or what can I do to find a secure job? I can even see myself working for CNN if the right position came along! (hint hint)

I feel like people should be conscious about their actions,but I don't understand why the integrity of a company is alway more important than that of an individual. Maybe that's just the self-absorbed teenager in me talking.
Organizations want uniformity throughout their system so their is no individual focus that will take power or prestige away from it, but all of that goes strictly against what society teaches us to be. Your family, friends, media-everyone is pushing us to be indivdual and not follow the crowd when in reality that's the exact opposite of what you need to be.
Now days I feel like it's necessary for you to be a moldable person. One that can be the dependable worker that never crosses the line, the student who is always honorable, trustworthy and respectful
, a selfless member of your family. The ability to fit into all these molds is what helps us survive today. With the use of the internet and social networking, it serves as a place where we can experiment and let go of all the outside expectations for ourselves.
Along with that comes responsibility because you never stop being Bob from work, or Sally the student. It is still your duty to maintain those lives, to where you are just a commodity, or apart of a bigger picture, and your own individual identity at the same time. That's why I think people overcompensate and put too much information on the web because they want their true selves to be shown. That becomes an extension of you and everything your apart of.
An act like the soldier commited was out of ignorance because though he thought he could be vulnerable on the internet and let his gaurd down, he forgot that the internet is just like any other big organization. With survelliance it watches your everymove until it finds your fault and that's when you have to wonder if there really is any worth in the pure individual anymore, or if the whole purpose of an individual is to comprises the bigger enities in our life that posses more importance like your job, country, family, religion or even race.
