How to Build Bigger Muscle Fast!

Alternative Means to Build Muscle Faster Than You Thought Possible

At a time when anorexic body shapes are looked on with envy, with super skinny supermodels both male and female look down at us from every newsstand, it may seem peculiar to those wanting to lose weight, to find some people work for a body builder look. To build bigger muscle is not for the sole intention of looking spectacular, but in addition to have a healthy and vibrant body. And if you take a closer look at those male supermodels, you will see that they invariably do have very well developed musculature.

There are known ways to form large muscles, but having a total body building regime is most popular. These common programs to build muscle fast will work on your gaining weight as the primary objective then head on to toning your muscles. Body building programs come with a complete set of steps that must cover nutrition, weight training, supplementation, and avoiding injuries. The steps you need to take are quite easy and enjoyable to follow which form quite a routine. You only need to be careful about having a personal trainer. You have to make sure that he’s not inadequately trained instead a certified professional trainer.

Even in your own home, you can have the best muscle building techniques in private. You won’t have to bear complying strictly to a personal trainer and the rigor of a fitness gym atmosphere. There are some common exercises you can do at home, although for best muscle building you may find that a gym is essential for good weight training programs. You can work on your stamina by doing pushups, pull ups, and reverse crunches. It will even give you great benefits when you do it with lifting weights that starts off from empty bars towards heavier weights. The very best benefit you will notice when you work out at home is comfort and privacy.

Never underestimate the value of lifting free weights to build muscle and boost stamina instead of having machine-aided exercises. You should remember that barbells are good when you aim for the heaviest weights that cause stress, which in turn helps form muscles. When it comes to dumbbells, they are for assistance exercises, instead of major lifts.

Once you have that goal of having the body of an Arnold Schwartznegger look alike, you have to work on it from scratch. That means you have to begin at doing compound exercises that will work on your body’s different muscles. Those isolation exercises can come after you have finished building a solid base. That’s why it’s called a systematic process.

For someone who wants a truly muscular body, one has to remember that he needs to train his legs by doing proper squats regularly. You should do squats as frequently as 1.5 times his body weight. When you do squats, you should ensure that your hips are lower than your knees.

Most body builders are thought to be conscious of their health, even if many aim for the muscles more than they do for health. It might be because most of them know it well that proper diet, enough rest and sleep and enough water intake can hasten muscle development than mere exercise without an appropriate diet.

What could be the best muscle building strategy is eating a lot to gain more weight, before working on the muscles. This is a simple thing to do, except that you focus more on eating protein-rich foods. Those who are fond of skipping breakfast are not fit for muscle building programs. To build muscle fast, there is one important item you should never forget and that is to never give up. When that weight lifting session seems just too much effort, imagine yourself wearing your gorgeous swimwear in some fabulous beach, being glanced at by everyone, young and old alike. Then you’ll get back to your focus on the ways to build muscle fast, and you’ll be more inclined to keep at it!

Not really, although dark chocolate 70% cocoa stuff can have health benefits because it lowers blood pressure but is only healthy in moderation since it is still ladden with calories.

Congrats. I think you're supersmart to work with a personal trainer, btw. People who don't automatically love working out need a little help, and a good personal trainer can provide it. My wife, for instance, met with a personal trainer twice a week for 30 minutes each time and within a year got in fabulous shape. She's since moved over to doing yoga and Pilates, but credits the personal trainer with kicking her butt and getting her going. Also, it's amazingly easy to hurt yourself using weights. A good personal trainer will work you out *and* prevent you from hurting yourself.

I've also written and been critical of Jillian's personal training style as well as the weight loss supplements she has advocated. As a personal trainer myself Ive noticed that she seems to show up on various TV shows, but I have not seen her giving interviews to personal training trade magazines which I find a little odd.

Here is a recently blog I wrote about Jillian

As a personal trainer and group movement instructor, I agree.
When I offer a group class, I introduce different levels of each warm up action or exercise so that they can be individualized.
Working 1 on 1 with a client (as a personal trainer) is an excellent chance to individualize movement and to experiment with what works and what doesn't work. I can have in mind what has worked before for this person or for others, but ultimately, it comes down to this moment, this person.

As a personal trainer who teaches personal trainers, I can say that NPTI is one of the best certifications out there today. I have no affiliation to NPTI. I say this based on the NPTI trainers I have encountered – which is quite a number of them.

hmmmmm…. Do Waverly council have a definition of personal trainer?

I think I will apply for a personal trainer permit, there will be 1 participant, me, I will be training myself on how to take and sell better photo's. Total cost $700 per year, that would only get you 7 hours 20 minutes if you applied for a photography permit.

They want to play fast and loose with definitions why can't I?

Hey there! great post! As a manager of personal trainers and a personal trainer myself, I agree 100% – don't be distracted by a trainers poor professional standards. A personal trainer should be someone that inspires you to fitness and takes the time to understand who you are both physically and as a human being.

I write a blog on fitness and health and have written an article about the essentials of how to become a good personal trainer – it shows the important things to being a trainer (but also is good information for knowing what to look for). Use the link below if you would like to read it:

Great blog post! goes to show that things are the same world round, regardless of whether it be Delhi India or Denver Colorado!

It's a wonderful thing to hear you speak of your own 'healing', Barbara. I think it's terrific that you didn't buy what the doctors told you. AND that you took it upon yourself to figure it out. I could write an entire book about this, (don't worry. not here!) There is one thing I'd suggest to add to your 'regime'. It's not just about your legs/butt. If you will also strengthen your lower back (by doing what's most commonly called 'dead lifts'), you will find even more 'healing' in your knees. Here's why: everything is CONNECTED (remember that old song, “the hip bones connected to the thigh bone, the thigh bones connected to the….”?
Anyway, this isn't the place to get all 'personal trainer' on ya, but we can chat about it if you wish. (I was a personal trainer for many years). Here's to your healthy, firm, fabulous body!
