As a vegetarian and a public health nurse who works in the Sacramento County Disease Control Unit (dealing daily with those suffering from food-borne illness) my stomach is churning at the idea of consuming lambs' heads, tongues, and brains (especially those laying about for unknown periods of time at 80 – 90 degree temperatures). The only conclusion I can draw from this is that those body parts must be really well-done in order to kill the teeming pathogens that are incubating there. Good luck with your eating escapades! You might want to note the Federal Court lawsuit filed against the AOC: It alleges that despite significant oversight regarding the problems in the dependency system throughout the state (particularly the staggering caseloads of counsel) and despite its role in funding counsel to represent children the AOC has not been providing sufficient funds to allow the dependency proceedings in Sacramento County for abused and neglected children to comport with due process.
