Ottawa — A suspicious package found at the U.S. embassy on Sussex Drive snarled traffic in Ottawa yesterday.
Police set up a 30-metre perimeter around the building after receiving a call from embassy personnel.
Bomb disposal crews later determined there was no threat of explosives, and RCMP say an investigation is under way.
No description of the package was released.

I was harassed from the country by US Embassy misuses of influence and their
“security” people. This is not the US Embassy for American Citizens, but the Bush Embassy today, in spite of writing the Ambassador repeatedly requesting relief from this activity and a meeting.
They may have thought I might be a bad bet for voting for this administration and withheld the ballot delivery.
