Understanding Cancer Metastasis

A lung metastasis is a malignant growth in the lung that originated from cancer cells somewhere else in the body. It is a serious, life threatening condition that is rarely treated successfully. In some cases, the patient may live longer by surgically removing the growth. Very rare cases even led to cure of the disease. Cancer cells that spread to the lungs are said to have metastasized the lung. Because of a primary origin of the cancer cells, a metastasis to the lung is called a secondary malignancy. Fatal cancer patients may develop a lung metastasis where the ratio is 1/3.
What is breast cancer lung metastasis? Lung metastasis or pulmonary metastasis from breast cancer is a detection of cancer development from cancer cells that originated from the breast. Patients diagnosed with pN3 stage and vascular invasion are more likely to develop lung metastasis. A subtype with HER2 negative has a great tendency for growth of lung metastasis in breast invasive ductal cancer patients.
What is colon cancer lung metastasis? Metastatic to the lung signals the spread of cancer into the bloodstream. If the lung cancer displays similar characteristics to that of the original malignancies in the colon, it is considered a colon cancer lung metastasis. Cancer may appear in body parts not seen by CT scans and this makes it difficult for removal of visible tumors to be totally beneficial. This is why chemotherapy is the common treatment of choice.
What is prostate cancer lung metastasis? Lung or pulmonary metastasis in prostate cancer is rarely a significant factor in the management of prostate cancer. The pattern of cancer spread is through the lymphatic system where pulmonary metastases occur with osseous metastases. Pulmonary metastases are not commonly experienced by prostate cancer patients. Androgen deprivation is the most effective treatment. The treatment and prognosis for patients with pulmonary metastases is not essentially worse than for patients with metastatic disease in other body parts.

Colon Cleanse – Choose First-Class Advice on New Products
June 7, 2009 by Janet7 · 29 Comments
The incidence of colon cancer is second only to that of lung cancer. More and more people are diagnosed with this form of cancer every year. Are the harmful remnants of fecal matter in the intestine to blame for the increase in colon cancer cases? You may be wondering products like pure colon rinse can help.
Some health experts say that colon cleansing has no effect on colon health. They claim that it will certainly not prevent disease, and it may in fact be harmful. Many people, however, are turning to this method as a means for maintaining good health.
There are other colon related diseases and disorders than can severely impact an individual’s life, and they can even result in removal of portions of the intestine through a colostomy.
When a significant amount of the small intestine is removed, it results in a colostomy bag, where fecal matter is no longer excreted through traditional methods, and is, instead, detoured into a bag that must be emptied on a regular basis.
This is an extreme, and extremely unpleasant, result of colon disease. It is no wonder that people want to avoid colon illness. They turn to diet and colonic irrigation in order to preserve the health of their colon as much as is within their power.
High fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils are just two examples of the synthetic foods that bombard our colons on a regular basis.
While it is certainly true that natural foods can contribute to the incidence of colon cancer and disease, artificial, chemical-infused foods are thought to make the risk for serious illness much higher.
This constant abuse to your digestive system can impact its ability to absorb nutrients, and can result in chronic constipation.
This condition goes widely unnoticed by most of its sufferers, as bowel moments are made, but are reduced in size. This is due to the walls of the intestine being coated with hardened matter.
This can effect general health, because suffers become malnourished without knowing a problem even exists. Implementing a healthy diet will help minimize this problem. Natural foods pass naturally.
When build up has already occurred, a dietary change may work as a preventative measure, but it will not cure the problem. Many experts believe that 5 to 20 lbs of fecal matter can exist within the colon at any given time.
When people have such high amounts of built-up fecal matter on their intestine walls, it may result in an overall feeling of ill health. Treating this with laxatives or hydrotherapy can be very effective. These colonic irrigation methods cleanse the bowels. They can then start to absorb nutrients and start working as they should.
Colonic irrigation has the obvious benefit of helping sufferers feel much better. But many people also report that they have lost considerable weight after undergoing treatments such as these.
Symptoms that may suggest you would benefit from a colon cleansing are usually subtle, as they can occur for many reasons. Some examples include diarrhea, insomnia, difficulty with weight loss, constipation, abdominal gas, prostate problems, fatigue, headaches and backaches.
To take care of your financial health, you would get your free credit report or free credit score. To take care of physical health some people consider a colon cleanse.
If you experience any of these symptoms outlined in this article, your colon may be trying to tell you something.
