Managing network appliance on intranet is quite different from internet file upload. There is no need for JAVA for something simple like file upload. I keep JAVA blocked in FireFox on my home pc.

btw JAVA uploader is still there, you can use it. It shows progress bar for each photo, progress bar for all photos, how many files were uploaded, total number of files, status if a photo was uploaded, total speed, time remaining and when all photos are uploaded it says “time remaining: uploads pending” when all photos are uploaded and smugmug is processing them.

what else do you need?

Am I the only person that noticed that the progress bar at the bottom of the screen shows exactly how far you are into a chapter?

Yeah, the little flecks in the progress bar are chapters, and are spaced out to represent how long each chapter is, and the progress indicator shows how far you are into a chapter…
